While I was coaxing Sidney to nurse this morning, Alli cheers her on by saying " Go baby! Go Baby! Go!"

It's a GIRL!

Sidney Renae arrived at 5pm on November 28. She measured 20 inches and weighed 7 pounds, 1 ounce.

We both feel great and were able to go home the next day.

She folded her hands like this within a minute of being born. I like to think she is thanking God for getting her through THAT experience quickly.

Proud parents of TWO girls. I guess there were not meant to be any boys on Dan's side of the family.

Alli is taking to the big sister role really well...so far.

How to make Thanksgiving dinner when you are 9 months pregnant.

Knowing that I am going to have a baby the very next day, this is how to do Thanksgiving dinner the lazy way.

Thankfully, I had some help in the kitchen.

Lions and Tigers and Bears..Oh My!

Alli was a lion for Halloween this year. She wore her costume to daycare and for Trick or Treating that night. This was her first experience out begging for candy.

We live in a great neighborhood for Trick or Treating. Dan took her out, while I manned the candy. We had a lot of kids stop by and Alli came home with WAY too much of the naughty stuff.

The Final Weeks of Pregnancy

Alli is certainly enjoying the final weeks of this pregnancy. I am way too tired and lazy to enforce any rules or promote any positive behavior.

Here is proof. She is eating dinner (fish fillet + ketchup with strawberry milk) while sitting in front of the DVD player watching Dora. Not a vegetable in sight. I think it is even past her bedtime! It could be worse. She could be watching MTV, eating chips and drinking Mt. Dew.

Only a month left. Hopefully Alli won't pick up too many bad habits in that time.

Reunited with Iowa Friends

Alli and I went to Cleveland a couple weeks ago. We got to catch up with some friends from Iowa, who unfortunately are stuck in Cleveland for the year.
